6 tbs. cornstarch
2/3 cup sugar
dash salt
1/3 cup cocoa
4 cups warmed milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbs. butter
Begin by heating the water in the lower pan of a double boiler.
Mix together cornstarch, sugar, salt and cocoa in the top bowl from the double
boiler. Add warmed milk and stir well.
Gently place bowl in the pan of boiling water. Reduce heat to medium. Bring
pudding to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook
10 minutes.
Remove bowl of pudding from double boiler. While cooling add vanilla &
butter, stirring well. Cool, refrigerate.
